Reiki Testimonials
The more I work with Reiki, the more I discover and the more impressed I am. In the past 10 years I have worked with Reiki on and off. In the last two years I have turned to Reiki for daily healing in regards to my PCOS and endometriosis. In this process I have lost a lot of weight, have no pain and have a lot of energy. In the past I always needed a "lazy day" once per 14 days in order to get through life. Now my lazy days are filled with activities with the kids, exercise, excursions, volunteer work, trips. A few weeks ago I even started Kung Fu and decided that I will go 2 nights per week! I will try to give you a regular up-date in regards to the great manifestations of Reiki.

After being very sceptical for many years I am confinced now that there is more between heaven and earth. There is so much that we can't see and the whole world is build out of energies. Every living being, plant etc. has it's own energy.
In 2000 I emigrated from The Netherlands and settled close to Florenceville, NB. I brought my cat, Bennie and my dogs, Mexx & Bram. All my animals come from rescue situations. If the story is sad enough..... I will take the pet and make it part of my family :-). I refuse to pay $800.- for a puppy if there are mature animals out there that are very deserving as well to live in a loving home. Last week I noticed it again, my pets pick me and not the other way around.
My friend Marja informed me about an "adoption day" at our local veterinarians office. There was no reason for me to go there, I had 2 pets (Bennie went missing in 2004) and that was good enough. This Saturday I had this little voice in my head telling me to go anyway. So I went, feeling a bit silly when they asked me what I was looking for. I came up with the question if they ever get small dogs, knowing that every person would like to adopt a small dog. Then we went downstairs where they have some cats roaming around and there he was..... this big yellow cat that looked exactly like Bennie. I really had to get closer and "talk" to him to make sure that it wasn't my Bennie. The vet named this cat "Hemo" since he was found at the Waterville hospital and the ladies of the blood department brought him in. Needless to say that I was facinated by "Hemo" and his attitude (clawing at every cat and person who would come close or tried to approach him). However knowing that my husband would never let me come home with a cat (some people are just not cat people) I left the vet office. I told my husband about my adventure that morning and how this cat looked like Bennie etc. The next day I was reading my Reiki Magazine and stumbled on to a story about a Reiki cat. A cat that is realy initiated as a Reiki Master and who actually picks his "client/patient" and sits with him/her and heals. The story was so amazing and I cried so hard when I read that the cat passed away at age 14 (just a few months ago). In my head I had a new mission, our kids need a Reiki cat. They are to impatient to sit for a Reiki treatment, distance healing is great but I don't always have time to do it and they love animals. So I would need a very social cat that will crawl on their lap etc. All of this was going on in my head, my husband knew nothing about it. In my next Reiki session I visialized my "Reiki cat" and I kept on seeing "Hemo". I decided telling my husband about what I read etc... He listened, read a part of the cat story and told me to see the cat again that I saw on Saturday. I went back to the vets office, took our kids and told "the universe" that I need a nice and social cat. "Hemo" would not make the cut based on his first performance. We went downstairs and I sat on the floor. Out of app. 11 cats, "Hemo" came and chose me. He sat with me, cuddled with me and loved me. We adopted "Hemo" and the kids named him Eddie. Eddie is amazing!! He loves everyone, likes to play with the kids and acts like he lived in our house in the past 20 years. He is so much like my good old Bennie that it might be a reincarnation :-). Pretty soon Eddie will receive his first Reiki attunement so he will be a Reiki Level 1 cat.
